Estimates place their number between 30 and 45 billion, with a growth rate of 20% each year. The main drivers of this growth are healthcare and Industry 4.0.
In environments already extensively equipped with RFID, one of the initial applications is Computerised Maintenance Management (CMMS), which enables the logistical tracking of devices equipped with tags or smart packaging.
In a connected factory, applications are varied, from loggers to environmental sensors (Smart Advanced Tags). Connected objects enable real-time monitoring of production conditions and support predictive maintenance.

Printed electronics is a technology that involves printing circuits, including on paper, using conductive ink. This technology offers numerous advantages, such as integration into various types of substrates and a significantly lower environmental impact compared to traditional printed circuits.
Leveraging our expertise in RAIN RFID and NFC, we have swiftly directed our research and development towards data collection for the industry. We value teamwork and have structured our projects by establishing an internal study and characterisation laboratory, as well as forming strategic partnerships.
We have advanced our R&D department by creating a laboratory capable of conducting in-house prototyping and pre-series phases.
